Lop Chop Chip is a qualified arborist and tree care service provider based in the Bay Islands, servicing Macleay Island, Russell Island, Lamb Island, Karragarra Island, Stradbroke Island, Moreton Bay Island and the greater Redland City area.

We have the honour of being the longest standing Arborist business in the Bay Islands.

Our Story

Lop Chop Chip was originally founded more than 15 years ago by current director, Raice Nicholls. It began as a small family run, locally owned and operated partnership.

Today, through much hard work and effort, we have transformed the business into a successful company and one of the leading providers of tree and vegetation management solutions in the Redland City area.

Our Team

Like any great business, our success is largely determined by the quality of our employees. Our team has extensive experience in the tree services industry and know what it takes to meet the minimum industry standards in safety and tree care.

Safety is our top priority. Our professional, friendly team aims to achieve and maintain the highest level of operating standards in relation to the safety of our staff, contractors, suppliers and members of the public. For this reason, it is a requirement that each employee maintain a current certification to provide first aid and CPR.

We recruit staff for entry level positions all the way through to AQF Level 4 Arborist. All our staff are suitably qualified for their positions and hold the appropriate licences and qualifications to undertake the works detailed under their role based accountabilities and responsibilities.

We acknowledge that our team is our biggest asset so we put a large emphasis staff development. This consists of ongoing formal training, professional memberships and the further attainment of advanced qualifications.
